"Children of incarcerated parents are soldiers in a war they did not start."
-Lateefah Simon
President of the Akonadi Foundation
BAYCIPP is a partnership that consists of individuals, organizations, and people across several Bay Area Counties, who/that have experienced parental incarceration. Collectively we develop pathways for networking, training, educational awareness, and advocacy. Our structure avoids duplication and unnecessary overhead costs. We use a nonprofit fiscal sponsor, Marcus Educational Institute so that we can focus on developing and implementing policy and advocacy agendas to safeguard the rights of children of incarcerated and justice-involved parents. Please support our work by making a donation to BAYCIPP.
